University of Warwick hits a Perfect 6 for Teaching Quality

The University of Warwick has just hit a perfect six ? no nothing to do with cricket - Teaching quality inspectors have awarded the University of Warwick's Department of Philosophy a perfect score of 24 points out of 24 for the quality of its teaching - this is the University of Warwick's sixth perfect score of 24 points out of 24 - the other departments to gain this score being Economics, Sociology, Theatre Studies, Physics and Warwick's Education Departments, (Continuing Education, CELTE and its Institute of Education).

The inspectors particularly praised the national importance of Warwick's Philosophy department saying "The Warwick curriculum made a distinctive contribution to philosophy in the UK. They were also "Delighted to note the preparation of students and the active participation in teaching"
