University of Warwick and Coventry Instagrammers join forces
Instagram users in Coventry and Warwickshire have the chance to explore the University of the Year’s campus this weekend, with a special Instameet at the University of Warwick.
The University of Warwick, recently announced as the Times’ and Sunday Times’ University of the Year for 2015, has joined forces with the official Instagrammers group for Coventry and Warwickshire - @igerscoventry – for a joint Instameet on Saturday 4 October.
Instagram is an online service that enables users to share photos and videos on a variety of social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr.
Instagram users will be led on a photo walk of campus, exploring a range of fascinating architecture, before also having the chance to go on a special behind the scenes tour of Warwick Arts Centre, as well as connecting with fellow local Instagram users.
The joint Instameet – the first of its kind for a UK university – will also mark the tenth Worldwide Instameet, with similar meetings of Instagram users taking place across the globe this weekend.
