Warwick is top Midlands University for entrepreneurs and managers

  • University of Warwick ranks 1st of all Midlands universities for producing entrepreneurs and managers – new study finds
  • More than one in eight Warwick graduates start their own business or become managers
  • 5.15% of Warwick alumni surveyed started their business
  • 5.76% of Warwick graduates in the survey work in CEO and high managerial roles

The University of Warwick is the number one university in the Midlands for students who aspire to start their own company or run a business, according to a new survey by Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance.

The UK-wide study included 1,555,000 students at 18 universities in the Midlands, and found that at more than one in eight (12.02%) of Warwick students started their own company, or held high-ranking managerial positions, after graduating.

5.15% of the University of Warwick alumni surveyed have gone on to start their own business, and 5.76% of them are now in CEO and high managerial roles.
