Warwick ranked 7th best in the UK by the Daily Mail University league tables
The University of Warwick has been ranked as the 7th best university in the UK by the Daily Mail’s university guide.
The guide, which ranked over 130 universities, uses 12 measures to collate its scores. These include teaching excellence, student support, graduate salaries and research quality.
Warwick rated highly for graduate salaries (7th); high skilled jobs (8th) and research income (10th).
The Mail’s guide also highlights Warwick’s academic excellence, which it said, “spans the arts, humanities and languages, as well as the social sciences, science and engineering”.
Warwick has consistently been ranked within the top ten universities in the UK, including in the QS rankings.
Recent results from this year’s National Student Survey also revealed high student satisfaction at Warwick, placing it in the top three universities in the Russell Group across all categories.
Professor Stuart Croft, Vice Chancellor and President of the University of Warwick, commented: “I’m delighted to see Warwick once again ranked as one of the very best in the UK, and the high scores for graduate salaries and skilled jobs reflect how highly valued our graduates are by employers.
“We’re fortunate to have such a highly skilled workforce, world-class facilities, a beautiful campus and an enormously talented student community. That comes together to make Warwick a very special place.”
