Warwick Ranked in THE's World Reputation Rankings Top 100
The University of Warwick has been named as one the world’s top 100 universities for research and teaching by the Times Higher Education’s 2018 World Reputation Rankings.
One of only nine UK institutions to be listed in the top 100, Warwick maintained its ranking from 2017 and is placed in the 81-90 range.
Using a ‘globally representative survey of more than 10,000 senior academics’, the annual World Reputation Rankings identify the world’s most powerful ‘university brands’.
The news comes shortly after the Guardian 2019 University Guide named Warwick as one of the UK’s top 10 and the Times Higher Education ranking Warwick as the world’s 19th most international university.
Commenting on the news the University of Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said:
“To be recognised by our peers for our teaching and research excellence is a tremendous achievement and I’m delighted to pass on my thanks to the entire Warwick community for all they do to enhance the global reputation of our university.
“With exciting new international projects, such as our teaching and research collaborations with L’Université Paris Seine and Vrije Universiteit Brussel and developing fresh collaborations in China, Warwick has much to look forward to in the year ahead a we seek opportunities to form further partnerships with higher education institutions as part of a network of actively engaged international students, teachers and researchers.”
