Research Celebration Event Programme

As Warwick celebrates its 60th year, we hope you can join us to showcase and celebration our outstanding research and impact undertaken by staff, students and working with partners.
Our research and impact focuses on making the world a better place and our Research Celebration event on Monday 7 April will centre around how our ongoing research supports the UK Government’s five key missions:
- Kickstart economic growth – Advancing productivity, job creation, and inclusive economic growth.
- Make Britain a clean energy superpower – Innovating in green technologies to cut costs and accelerate net zero.
- Take back our streets – Supporting efforts to reduce crime and strengthen public trust.
- Break down barriers to opportunity – Shaping education and social policies for equal access to opportunity.
- Build an NHS fit for the future – Improving healthcare outcomes and ensuring a healthier future for all.
The programme will feature presentations and videos from across our three Faculties; Arts; Science, Engineering & Medicine; and Social Sciences including some of our cross disciplinary programmes, a panel discussion on future challenges and opportunities, and awards to specifically recognise colleagues who have excelled in different aspects of research.
