Born 1972, London.

Clare Woods studied at Bath College of Art and Goldsmith's College, London.  She quickly gained recognition, exhibiting at major galleries in the UK, elsewhere in Europe and in the United States.  Her work has been acquired by several public bodies including the British Council, the Arts Council and the Government Art Collection.  In 2010 she was awarded a prestigious commission for a work to adorn one of the key buildings constructed for the London 2012 Olympics.
