Many of Hurvin Anderson's paintings feature images of Handsworth in Birmingham and this is of the bridge over the railway line in Handsworth park. Anderson uses different thicknesses of paint to create an almost abstract scene. The lush vegetation is as much Caribbean as it is of the West Midlands.
