Toxic Expertise case study

The brief

Toxic Expertise is a five year research project funded by the European Research Council. It looks at pollution, environmental justice and corporate social responsibility.

Using findings of this first systematic sociological analysis, we were tasked with producing a video to educate the public on issues which remain largely invisible to the developed world.

The work

The video was produced with multiple team members involved in generating intial ideas. We also attended events hosted by the client to understand the topic and ensure we were communicating the key messaging.

Idea development

Storyboard creation

Voiceover recording

Animation

Very accommodating, flexible and exceptionally dedicated to achieving what we want.

The result

The feedback

I've found working with Warwick Event Production a wonderful experience - very accommodating, flexible and exceptionally dedicated to achieving what we want.

A tremendous amount of creativity and effort has been put into our first animated explainer video for our project Toxic Expertise. The team have always come equipped with ideas and expert knowledge to meetings and has been understanding at my tendency to reschedule last minute due to last minute meeting and/or family commitments.

At filming events they've interacted with attendees of all ages in a professional, friendly manner and getting the best footage that we could achieve.

Sometimes our 'Briefs' have lacked specifics as this has been a learning curve for our team as well. However, Warwick Event Production have all worked amazingly well with my loose descriptions of our aims.

Overall I am so impressed by the attitude and quality of work. I'm currently putting together bids for further funding to create more videos and animations for various research projects.
