About the Event

This interactive afternoon brings together colleagues from across Warwick to explore how technology and design can shape the future of teaching and learning. Hosted by the Digital Learning team, the event offers hands-on demonstrations, short talks, and opportunities to network with peers who are experimenting with new approaches to digital education.

Whether you’re looking to enhance assessment and feedback practices, explore innovative tools in Moodle, or learn how AI is being used to support student belonging and engagement, this event provides a space to share ideas and spark collaboration.

Programme Highlights

1:00pm – Welcome & Overview
An introduction to current digital learning priorities and opportunities at Warwick.

1:15pm – Lightning Talks: Innovations in Teaching
Quick 10-minute showcases from colleagues across departments, including:

• Designing for belonging in online spaces

• Rethinking assessment with digital tools

• Using analytics to inform learning design

2:15pm – Hands-on Demos and Drop-in Discussions
Try out some of the technologies that support teaching and learning at Warwick:

• Moodle enhancements and plug-ins

• Echo360 and flexible capture setups

• Moodle Quiz and Wiseflow for online assessment

• Tools for collaboration and active learning

3:30pm – Panel Discussion: The Future of Digital Learning at Warwick
Join representatives from IT Services, Academic Development Centre, and Faculty Learning Technologists to discuss priorities, challenges, and opportunities ahead.

4:15pm – Networking and Refreshments
Stay for informal conversation, refreshments, and a chance to connect with colleagues.
