Who We Are

We are a team of learning designers and technologists who aim to enable, enhance and transform learning, teaching and the digital learning ecosystem through partnership, innovation and an evidence-informed approach.

Working across all academic faculties, our specialists combine an understanding of pedagogical practice with technical expertise. Each faculty is supported by a digital learning consultant and advisor who work to understand their unique disciplinary context and can call on the Learning Design and Educational Technology teams within Digital Learning as required. We support key learning platforms including, but not limited to, Moodle, Mahara, Padlet, and EchoVideo, while remaining flexible in exploring and supporting additional tools that meet people’s specific teaching needs.

We partner with colleagues across the University of Warwick to develop capability and capacity across the organisation in digital learning practices so that our students receive a world-leading educational experience.

Digital Learning operates as interconnected specialist teams – Faculty Support, Learning Design and Educational Technology. This structure allows us to provide both specialised faculty support and broader institutional expertise. By working directly with academic teaching and professional service staff, we develop solutions that respect disciplinary differences and individual teaching styles. Our consultants and advisors collaborate closely with colleagues across the University to ensure digital tools enhance rather than complicate the teaching process.
