Ideathon 2025: Reimagine lecture capture and more!

Digital Learning have been working with Echo360 to host a Student Ideathon from 1-8 May 2025, inviting students from all disciplines to ideate and develop innovative solutions to enhance our lecture capture platform, Echovideo. We have been helping to structure and facilitate the sessions, bringing in our expertise on digital tools, student experience and support for innovation.

Student participants will attend two 2-hour in-person sessions, on 1st May and 8th May, with one remote mentoring session on 6th May, with the opportunity to earn 3 Core Skills Points towards the Warwick Award (if participating in the Award) and receive £10 in vouchers, with winning teams eligible for an additional £40. Winners will also gain an official Echo360 Innovators Badge for their CVs, and the opportunity to potentially meet with Echo360 to further develop the winning idea.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop valuable professional skills, have an impact on educational technology used daily at Warwick and internationally, and to connect with industry professionals. Please share this opportunity with your students - no technical expertise is required, just creativity, enthusiasm, and an interest in lecture capture, so this is valid for anyone in any discipline. Interested students should register promptly via myAdvantageLink opens in a new window as places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
