    Getting started

If you'd like to watch your class recordings on your phone or tablet using the EchoVideo mobile app, you'll need to complete a few simple steps first.

These steps connect the app to your university account, ensuring your modules appear correctly, and that your viewing activity and class engagement are recorded.

Once you've downloaded the app and set up your password using a web browser sync the app to your Moodle courses by following these instructions:

    1. Log into Moodle and open each module you are enrolled in and want to access through the EchoVideo app.
    2. On Moodle, click the Lecture Capture block on the right-hand side of your course page, following the step-by-step instructions here. If you skip this step, the mobile app may not show your recordings correctly.
    3. Completing this step activates your access in the EchoVideo app, ensuring you can access your class recordings and that your engagement and viewing progress is tracked correctly.

There is some additional guidance on these steps here from EchoVideoLink opens in a new window.
