What is Padlet?

Padlet is best described as an online noticeboard or digital canvas.

It is typically used to facilitate collaborative activities with your classmates, however it can also support independent study. You can contribute to padlets created by others, or create your own.

Here is an outline of some key features of Padlet:

• Post a range of media, e.g. videos, images, documents, text, and links
• Contribute anonymously to most padlets
• Comment on others' posts
• React to others' posts, e.g. like, vote
• Share your padlets with others
• Customise the appearance of your own padlets
• Create your own padlets from a variety of formats, depending on the nature of the task or activity

If your tutor sets an activity in Padlet, they should provide clear instructions of what they expect you to do. Please ask them if you're not sure.
