Looking for advice on how to communicate more effectively with colleagues? Need help introducing a new communications channel? Think your team would benefit from some comms training? We're here to help...

Our Internal Communications team can offer support with training, channel development, communications partnering opportunities, departmental communications and comms campaign planning.

We also look after the staff portal 'insite', the all-staff email 'inbox insite', the staff twitter account '@warwickinsite', the digital screens and run the Warwick Network staff conference.

Our team helps gather feedback from colleagues, develop conversations between teams, and is responsible for ensuring all our employees are well informed about matters affecting them and have a voice in the way our University is run.

Key responsibilities of the Internal Communications team

  • Community building and staff engagement
  • Supporting efficiency and collaboration

Tasks the team can help with/advise on

  • Consultancy on staff communications strategy and planning
    Advice and guidance on communications strategy and planning for internal audiences, including crisis communication and specific campaigns; assistance with choosing appropriate communications channels; IC training and development; and communications partnering.
  • Staff online portal (insite):
    News, features, events, and signposting to key information for staff. Submit your story ideas/suggestions via our online form, or register to add your own events to the calendar.
  • All-staff email (inbox insite)
    Weekly news roundup sent out to all staff.

  • Staff twitter account (@warwickinsite):
    An internal twitter account to keep you updated on news, events, practical information, and retweets of interest to the Warwick community.

  • Digital screens
    Content for the landscape screens published onto screens across campus. Submit requests for the digital screens, or contact the Big Screen team for Piazza content.
