Innovation @ The Junction

A seminar series focused on the what, why & how to deliver impact through commercialisation

This is a new series of seminars focused on the practicalities of how to commercialise research. These seminars are aimed at the Warwick PI and Postdoc community to offer guidance on best practice for key aspects of the commercialisation journey including: types of IPR & how not to disclose; the licensing and spin-out process; and how to communicate ideas to commercialisation stakeholders.

Shum Prakash

In the course of their work researchers create intellectual property, including but not limited to patents. It is important to understand how to protect intellectual property, what counts as disclosure and how to document correctly.

Dr Shum Prakash will explore the different types of IPR, and talk about the practicalities of how to work with intellectual property, what to expect from the process and the support available from Warwick Innovations.
