What is the PGCTS?

The Postgraduate Certificate in Transferable Skills (PGCTS) is an accredited qualification designed to enable you:

  • to be a successful doctoral researcher undertaking world leading research
  • to improve your research effectiveness
  • to maximize your talents in your future career
  • to understand what you already know and how to use those skills to maximum effect.

Who is it for?

PGCTS is primarily for doctoral researchers.

Postdoctoral Researchers who wish to attend any optional modules may contact us to enquire about availability.

Is PGCTS recognised outside of Warwick?

PGCTS and Researcher Development

Researcher Development is the central Researcher Development Programme. Our two programmes can complement each other quite well.
