Set up a Padlet account
This guide details how to set up a Padlet account, update your basic info and import existing Padlet content from another account.
Set up a Padlet account
- In a browser, go to warwick.padlet.org
- Click on Log in with Microsoft
- Enter your email address in this format: username@live.warwick.ac.uk (e.g. u1234567@live.warwick.ac.uk)
- Enter your University IT account username (e.g. u1234567)
- Enter your University IT account password
- Complete two-step authentication
- Your account has been created. Welcome to Padlet.
New to Padlet? Start with a tour.
Update your basic info
If your name appears as surname, firstname, you can change it in your profile.
- If you are not already, log in to Padlet.
- In a browser, go to https://warwick.padlet.org/dashboard/settings/basic
- Change the following:
- Avatar image (click on the avatar image to select a new one)
- Name
- Email (not recommended)
- Username
- About (bio)
- Language
- Click Update to save the changes.

Import content from another Padlet account
If you have been using a free Padlet account, you can import your existing Padlets in to Warwick Padlet.
- If you are not already, log in to Padlet.
- In a browser, go to https://warwick.padlet.org/pro/import
- Log in to your free account
- Choose the Padlets to import
- Click Import x padlet(s)
- A confirmation message will tell you when the padlets have been imported.
- You can also import existing colloborators.
