Adding blogs or collections to your favourites

You can add blogs and collections to your favourites by browsing around Warwick Blogs until you find a blog or a collection that you particularly like and that you want to add to your favourites.  At the top of the blog or next to the title of the collection you will see a heart icon like this      and you can use it to add the blog or collection to your favourites.  When you click on the icon, you will see a screen that enables you to add the blog or collection to your favourite

1. If you have created folders, you will need to click on a radio button to specify the folder that you want to add the blog or collection to.  You should see a list of all the folders that you have already created.  If you haven't created any folders the blog or collection will automatically get added to your default 'My favourites' folder.
2. If you are adding a blog to your favourites, tick the tags that you want to add or to include all entries tick 'Everything in this Blog'.  If you are adding a collection, you'll need to select which blogs you'd like to see entries from as well.
3. Click on the add to my favourite blogs button  (or cancel if you change your mind!)  You will then see a screen confirming that the blog or collection has been added to your favourites and giving you the choice to return to your blog, go to the blog or collection that you have just added or go to your favourites page.
4. Click 'View my favourite blogs' to go to your favourites page and you should see that the blog or collection has been added to the folder that you specified.

When you add a blog or collection to your favourites it will be listed on your favourites page and it will also be listed in the left hand column of your blog under 'Favourite blogs'.  It might look something like this:

You can get directly to blogs or collections from your favourites list by clicking on this icon .

Note: When you next return to the blog or collection, you should see that the heart icon in the utility bar now has a tick inside like this      to indicate that you have already added this blog or collection to your favourite.
