Previous and next page links
You can show buttons labelled Previous page and Next page, as well as page numbers, to indicate that a page is part of a sequence intended to be read in order – for example, as part of a handbook.

Browse to the direct parent page for the set of pages you want to show the buttons on.

Go to Edit > Edit page properties:

Expand the Advanced properties section:

Choose an option from the Show next & previous links on sub-pages drop-down list:

Bottom: Previous page and Next page buttons are displayed at the bottom of each page.

Bottom, with page numbers: Previous page and Next page buttons are displayed at the bottom of each page along with a row of page numbers, allowing users to select a page in the sequence.

Don't display: Default setting. No page numbers or previous/next buttons are shown.

Top: Previous page and Next page buttons are displayed at the top of each page.

Top and bottom: Previous page and Next page buttons are displayed at the top and bottom of each page.

Top and bottom, with page numbers: Previous page and Next page buttons are displayed at the top and bottom of each page along with a row of page numbers, allowing users to select a page in the sequence.

Select Save changes.

Visit a page beneath the current page – you will see the pagination buttons and, if you chose the option, page numbering, in the location you selected.
