Go redirects and subpages
Go.Warwick is the University's service to shorten long web addresses (URLs) to create short, memorable URLs, known as Go redirects.
Take a web address (URL) for a department's home page, such as:
https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/architecture
You could request the Go redirect architecture
, which you can then cite as:
https://warwick.ac.uk/architecture
The Go redirect also works for sub-pages. For example, if you have a staff profile at:
https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/architecture/staff/jdoe
You could cite that staff profile with the following URL:
http://warwick.ac.uk/architecture/staff/jdoe
