Formsbuilder doesn't really have an API (yet!)

• You can POST directly to your form from a client application
• You can automate the download of CSV files

A frequently-asked-for feature is the ability to link formsbuilder's CSV downloads to a Sitebuilder CSV-table page. We don't do this because, in the general case, it would perform very badly. additionally, it's not clear if we can prevent people from making silly mistakes with permissions, and leaking personal data. But it remains something we'd like to add

Formsbuilder is getting a rewrite to bring it closer sitebuilder. We'll probably introduce more APIs at that stage (including, possibly, auto-generation of CSVs)
