We have been working on communications to offer holders and monitoring Government/UCAS and related advice. We’re also keeping a close eye on what others are doing and we’ve been thinking through options and risks. There continue to be a range of different responses from other HEIs and various challenges back from Govt and sector agencies, most notably perhaps, OfS.

As a priority we would like to do all that we can to reduce the uncertainty facing our offer holders. At the moment, there is little that we can say definitively; accordingly a message to UG offer holders went out today that focused on reassurance; this stressed a concern about the anxiety they are feeling, a wish to help and support and a commitment to working for their best interests but staying in line with Govt position. The team are also working on comms for PG students.

I’ll share a bit more detail on comms during the course of this coming week, but for now, I wanted make sure that you were aware that messages were being sent out.
