  • Volunteering and raising money for charitable causes

I have been involved in volunteering and raising money for charitable causes for many years. In 2007 I cycled the length of the UK (LEJOG) raising over £2000 for the NACCP and Transplants in Mind. I have also been involved in fund raising for World Aids Day (2006 & 2007), raising money for CALM in 2015 by completing the Three Peaks Challenge and raising money for British Heart Foundation through running the Warwick Half Marathon in 2014.

More recently I spent a week in Dunkirk and Calais volunteering at the MSF Camp in Grande-Synthe and I am now helping Kiron Open Higher Education, a German organisation which helps refugees access higher education, conduct research into the status of their students and how they use the Kiron platform.

  • Sports

I am a keen runner and swimmer, havinging competed in several half marathons and 10K races.
