'"It's not already laid out for you in a small company": UK graduates' knowledge and skills utilisation in small and large businesses.' Supervised by Prof K. Purcell; Prof K. Mole. Funded by ESRC CASE Studentship with HECSU as collaborating partner. This thesis used a mixed-methods research approach, combining statistical analysis of national longitudinal survey data of UK graduates currently in their early careers (Futuretrack) and in-depth qualitative interviews with selected survey participants.
