Welcome to my ePortfolio
First I would like to give you a short introduction of myself and my work.
Since July 2015, I’m a PhD student in Life sciences at the University of Warwick in the UK. My project is to develop a novel diagnostic tool to identify Leishmania super-spreaders in dog populations in Brazil. I’m really interested in the application of bench research into the field. The aim of the project is the creation of a prototype suitable for production and commercialisation. This involved lab skills, but also translational skills as collaboration and communication with others research institutes and companies to develop the project. During my PhD, I developed mathematical models for a better efficiency of disease control programmes. The application of research and new innovations into the field is a challenge I would like to keep working on in the future.
This project is part of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network funded by the European commission (http://www.euroleish.net). The project leading to this research has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement nº 642609.
I now invite you to go through my ePortfolio to learn more about my research, my CV and others. If you have any question, don't hesitate to contact me.
