Alessandro Arlandini
Welcome to my webpage! I am a PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Warwick. More specifically I work in Number Theory under the supervision of David Loeffler.
Research activity
My research interests lie in Number Theory, in particular I am interested in L-functions (both complex and p-adic ones) and their special values, modular forms, Galois representations and Euler systems.
Conferences
- Introductory Workshop on Euler Systems and Special Values of L-functions (Lausanne, August 2017).
- Special Cycles on Shimura Varieties and Iwasawa Theory (Lausanne, August-September 2017).
Other activities
I take part in the activities of the Number Theory group at Warwick. During the terms there is a running Seminar as well as a Study group.
Educational Background
I obtained both my Bachelor degree and my Master degree in Mathematics at the University of Padua (Università di Padova, DIpartimento di Matematica "Tullio Levi-Civita"). My advisors for my Master thesis were Adrian Iovita and Bruno Chiarellotto, while for my Bachelor thesis my advisor was Maurizio Candilera.
