Catering and Food

We aim to offer catering that is seasonal, locally sourced and lower in carbon impact.
This event provides plant-based or vegetarian options as a more sustainable choice.
We are reducing food waste by offering vouchers for you to purchase any food you love on campus cafes and outlets.
Leftover food will be redistributed to avoid waste.
We encourage you to bring your own reusable cup or bottle to help reduce single-use plastics.
No single-use cutlery or packaging is used at this event.

Waste and Recycling

We are proud to host a zero waste event.
Thank you for helping us keep waste to a minimum by using the recycling bins provided.

Energy and Transport

Our University is actively reducing its reliance on fossil fuels for electricity and increasingly sourcing power from renewable energy.
Sustainable travel is encouraged. Please use public transport, cycle or walk where possible. The venue is well connected.
