News and Events at the Warwick Venice Centre

Join us at the Warwick Venice Centre on Feb 18th at 17:30 for the launch of Francesco Pasinetti, Soggeti e sceneggiatture, edited by Prof. Alberto Zambenedetti (U of Toronto) with Carlo Montanaro as respondent (Conservator of the Carlo Montanaro Archive, which contains the Francesco Pasinetti collection, within La Fabbrica del Vedere).

The Warwick Venice Centre celebrates the appointment of Valeria Zane as the new Director of the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation, which shares its home at the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin with the Warwick Venice Centre.

The Levi Foundation is active in musicological and ethnomusicological research in Venice and the Veneto, national and European spheres, including the cataloguing and study of music collections. The Warwick Venice Centre is eager to work with the Foundation and to collaborate ever more closely with them in our ongoing activities.

From 1 to 5 December 2025,Università Ca'​ Foscari Venezia hosted the final EUTOPIA Week of the year, an inspiring platform to align strategies, deepen collaboration, and collectively imagine the next generation of European universities. The conversations initiated in Venice will continue to guide the alliance's journey toward a more connected, innovative, and inclusive academic community, reaffirming that within EUTOPIA, bold futures are built together.
