EUTOPIA Week @ Ca'Foscari, Venice - December 2025
From 1 to 5 December 2025,Università Ca' Foscari Venezia hosted the final EUTOPIA Week of the year, an inspiring platform to align strategies, deepen collaboration, and collectively imagine the next generation of European universities. The conversations initiated in Venice will continue to guide the alliance's journey toward a more connected, innovative, and inclusive academic community, reaffirming that within EUTOPIA, bold futures are built together. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the longstanding ties between Warwick and Italy, reflecting a shared commitment to academic excellence, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.
Book Launch: "Reforming Art in Renaissance Venice"; 28 Nov. 2025, 18:00
On 28th November 2025 at 18:00, the WVC will welcome Marie-Louise Lilywhite (Keble College, Oxford; Warwick Alumna) for the launch of her new book Reforming Art in Renaissance Venice (Cambridge UP). The talk will be followed by a Q&A led by Warwick Art Historians and Historians, a drinks reception, and a chance to meet the author.
Humfrey Butters Annual Public Lecture; 20 Nov 2025 @ 17.00
The annual Humfrey Butters public lecture will be taking place at the Warwick Venice Centre on November 20th, 2025 at 17:00. This year's lecture celebrates the legacy of Humfrey Butters, along with the University's 60th Anniversary, and is part of the One World Warwick programme. Prof. Deborah Howard will be giving a talk entitled Venetian palace architecture ‘inside-out’. Click "more" to see the full poster and read the abstract.
