RAWKUS Post Grad Collection 2019
RAWKUS is a project that was created 6 years ago to save food surplus from kitchens across campus when students leave halls at the end of term/year. Tonnes of food and other items have been saved from ending up in the bin and have been given to local charities and food banks. During the June/July Summer Collection this year we saved 6 tonnes from being wasted.
This is only made possible by having volunteers willing to spend some time to help. We are looking for Volunteers who are available on 7th/8th September (9am-6pm) to join this fantastic initiative, saving good food and other items from being wasted.
If you are interested in joining our team for future collections please sign up to our RAWKUS mailing list.
If you are a staff member or student and have a general interest in what is happening on campus to make the University more sustainable or want to get more involved please sign up to the Green Champion Network.
