No Mow May 2024

The University has taken part in Plantlife’s No Mow May initiative for the past four years and will continue to leave spaces unmown this spring, with some areas being left into the summer and beyond before they are cut. By leaving spaces unmown this spring, we're providing habitats for pollinators, as well as working towards our vision of becoming an Eco Campus by 2030.

University of Warwick building awarded RIBA West Midlands Building of the Year

The University of Warwick’s new Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building (IBRB) has been awarded the West Midlands Building of the Year award from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The IBRB is an environmentally sustainable building and demonstrates the University’s continued commitment to addressing the climate emergency.

University of Warwick partners with Zest to save 15,000 tonnes of carbon through campus EV charging

The University of Warwick is working with turnkey investor-operator Zest to provide 173 electric vehicle (EVs) charging spaces in car parks across the campus. Warwick is recognised for its excellence in transport and future mobility research. The university’s respected academics work with major industry and government to advise and develop green, clean modes of transport, and to trial the solutions on campus.
