Around Charnwood Forest: Outwoods, Beacon Hill and Woodhouse Eaves

A lovely walk in the national forest.  Bring a little picnic and a drink,  wear sensible shoes/boots and (if optimistic)  some sunscreen and a sun hat, otherwise some warm clothes and rainwear........

Travelling arrangements:

Meet at Car Park 4 (opposite Arts Centre) at 10am

 or

Meet at Outwoods Car Park at 11am if that is more sensible for you.

Directions:

M69 north to J21, then M1 north to J23.

A512 east towards Loughborough.

Right towards Nanpantan, straight across traffic lights along Breakback Road towards Woodhouse Eaves.

Outwoods car park is on left at top of hill.

Details:

Walk starts and ends at Outwoods Car Park. Depending on loops taken, distance is in the range 5 – 8 miles approx.
