Our Vision is to empower health and wellbeing through innovation, research, education and services to drive inclusive social and economic growth for our people and communities.
Our Mission is to work together and in collaboration with our community to drive impactful solutions and transformative change to improve health outcomes and care for all. Building on Coventry and Warwickshire’s growing recognition and experience as global leaders of health and care innovation, we will leverage insights, data, and evidence, to tackle and address key health and care challenges.
Partners
The founding partners of the AHP are the Universities of Warwick and Coventry, the NHS Trusts and Integrated Care System in Coventry and Warwickshire, and Health Innovation West Midlands.
Guiding Principles
We know that as a region, and indeed a nation, we need to do more to address health inequalities and deliver real measurable improvements in health and wellbeing outcomes. By working together, we will combine our expertise to address these challenges.
Cross-Cutting Themes
Our key areas of focus will be to build partnerships across our region and communities; provide innovative skills development for our workforces; and capitalise on shared data to improve health outcomes.
Grand Challenges
Through Grand Challenges in Women's Health and Mental Health we will apply our strengths to deliver real measurable improvements in health and wellbeing outcomes across our region and with national and international application and relevance.
