MA in Literary Translation Studies: Provisional option module selection 2017-18

Your two core modules and dissertation are pre-selected as these are compulsory for the MALTS degree. You should choose ONE OPTIONAL CORE module from a list of approved “translation-relevant” modules and ONE ELECTIVE module. Optional core modules offered by the Dept. of English and Comparative Literary Studies are included in the drop-down lists and are labelled as such. Optional core modules offered by other academic units are not included on the lists; please contact the MALTS Convenor for information on which modules from other academic units are open to you in 2017-18. The elective is a module of your choice and can be selected from among the MA modules offered in the Dept. of English & Comparative Literary Studies, the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (for those with the relevant language skills) and other departments in the Faculty of Arts, subject to the approval of the module convenor and the MALTS Convenor. If you wish to take a module offered by another department or school as your optional core or elective, please contact the convenor of that module for approval before filling out this form. Please note that you may take no more than two modules in a given term and that MA modules are offered only once in an academic year – in Autumn or in Spring.

All classes are capped at 15 students. There is also a minimum limit so we cannot guarantee your first choice. Please send queries to PGEnglish@warwick.ac.uk.

THIS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BY 4TH SEPTEMBER 2017.
