Departmental induction event

New PhD students are invited to attend the Induction (Welcome) event in the department, hosted by the Director of Graduate Studies, on Thursday, September 30th, from 3-4pm. This is a chance to meet the Director of Graduate Studies, who will talk through some of the basics of settling into the Department, and also to meet other incoming research students.

CADRE induction events

CADRE (Centre for Arts Doctoral Research Excellence) provides separate induction events which you are strongly advised to attend. The PG Induction and Welcome Event will inform you of the academic events scheduled for the autumn term and introduce you to doctoral students from other disciplines.
