MA in English & Drama: Provisional module selection 2025/26 - part time students

Course Structure

Year 1 - Autumn term:

  • Research Methods - we will automatically allocate you to this so you do not need to apply
  • Core module: 30 CATS - EN9A7 Drama and Performance Theory - core module - assessed by coursework

Year 1 - Spring term:

  • 1 x 30 CAT module, assessed by coursework

Year 2 (You will apply for your 2026/27 modules in September 2026-Available modules are subject to change each Academic year)

Autumn term:

  • 1 x 30 CAT module, assessed by coursework

 Spring term:

  • 1 x 30 CAT module, assessed by coursework

    Choice of Dissertation:
  • 16,000 word dissertation (worth 60 CATS)

* Part‑time students are permitted to take one 30 CATS module from outside the department over the full duration of their course, including modules offered by the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) and the Centre for the study of the Renaissance (CSR).
