Module Selection for students starting in term 2

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ BEFORE MAKING YOUR APPLICATION FOR MODULES.

This form is for visiting students starting in term 2, primarily for those based in the Department of English & Comparative Literary Studies whilst at Warwick University, to apply for your modules with the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies.

Please note that as we give priority to students based in this department when allocating modules; all other students can sign up for modules, if spaces are available.

For details on the content of modules, please see our module webpages. Links can be found on the Module availability spreadsheet or from this page UG Modules 2025/26 - 'Any other student'.

We will email you to confirm which module(s) we have allocated you to.

Which terms are you here (required)

Rank your choices - please select accordingly - listing your choices in order of preference from 1 - 10.

Please ensure you select 10 choices - so select 1 for your first preference, 2 against your second preference until you have selected 10 options. Please ensure you complete this correctly as incorrect submissions will be returned for amendment and this delay may affect your chances of getting your preferred choices.

We will then ensure we allocate you to the required amount of CATS in our department as requested. This would normally be a maximum of 48 CATS (four modules) for a student based in English studying for one term, or 12 to 24 CATS for student based in an external department. Please note that 2 CATS is equivalent to 1 ECTS.

Rank your choices

Students based in English may take modules from other departments - you will need to contact the relevant department to check availability. Students who are from other departments may take 1/2 modules in the English Department if space is available, normally from week 2 of term. Spaces on modules can only be granted in consultation directly with the English Department.
