Helen Clifford, Kate Smith and Ellen Filor will be presenting papers at the 'Global Commodities: The Material Culture of Global Connections, 1400-1800' conference organized by the Global History and Culture Centre. The panel on which they are presenting is entitled 'Migration and Material Culture: Confronting East India Company Service in the Eighteent Century'. The conference will be held at the University of Warwick on December 12-14, 2012.
