Lisa Telfer, who has just graduated from the MA in Creative and Media Enterprises, has been awarded a £7,500 bursary to further her talents in PR and event management in the UK's urban music scene. Lisa beat off stiff competition along the way with the support of her local urban music record store, 2Funky Records, in Leicester where she is based. As well as participating in a three day residency of workshops the bursary will also give her the chance to benefit from mentoring by industry professionals and broaden her network of contacts.
