Douglas Dunn has published several books of poetry, including Elegies which won the 1985 Whitbread Book of the Year. His other works include collections of short stories, television and radio plays, critical works and a translation of Racine's Andromache. He is Professor of English and Director of St Andrew's Scottish Studies Institute at St Andrew's University.
