Blake Morrison was literary editor for both The Observer and the Independent on Sunday. He is the author of books of non-fiction, novels and collections of poetry. His account of the life and death of his father And When Did You Last See Your Father? won the J. R. Ackerley Prize and the Esquire/Volvo/Waterstone's Non-Fiction Book Award.
