Chatham House conference on Security & Defence, 6 March 2025

On 6 March, Professor Korosteleva attended the Chatham House conference on Security & Defence, which attracted a higher level participation and higher calibre of speakers. The topics included global and European security landscapes, redesigning security architecture for Europe, Arctic security, Britain's role, technologies, arms control, and the role of middle powers in a fractured world. The speakers involved many European ministers, NATO officials, and UK Minister for Armed Forces, Mr Luke Pollard MP, Ukraine's Ambassador General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, global media (Yalda Hakim; Deborah Haynes, Frank Gardener etc) and other stakeholders. Discussions were intense and constructive. There is a growing realisation of stronger European leadership needed to save peace in Ukraine, and build more sustainable futures.
