WUB Hub's Research Fellow, Dr Paul Hansbury, took part in a workshop 'Belarus in Focus: Society and Foreign Relations in a Dynamic Regional Landscape' at the Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies (IRES) at Uppsala University, Sweden. Dr Hansbury gave a presentation about the positioning of the Alyaksandr Lukashenka regime during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

IGSD Honorary Fellow Roza Turarbekava also participated in the workshop and spoke about Belarusian-Russian integration.

Professor Elena Korosteleva and Dr Tatsiana Chulitskaya met with the John Smith Trust's current cohort of Belarus fellows to discuss the fellows' research projects and future opportunities for cooperation. The event took place at Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford.
