WUB Hub research fellow Dr Paul Hansbury was quoted in an article in World Politics Review titled 'Lukashenko isn't done dismantling Belarus' democracy':

'[T]he permanent [All-Belarusian People's Assembly] is "a very significant step," Paul Hansbury, a research fellow at Warwick University's Warwick Ukraine-Belarus Hub, told WPR. "It's a way Lukashenko is preparing for a power transition after he steps down from the presidency at some point."'

The Warwick Ukraine-Belarus Hub convened its webinar 'Holding the Dictators to Account'. The panellists were: Kateryna Rashevska, a lawyer from the Regional Centre for Human Rights; Guillem Cano-Palomares, deputy head of the Secretariat of the PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights; Anais Marin, the United Nations Special Rapporteur for the Situation on Human Rights in Belarus; and Kanstantsin Dzehtsiarou, Professor of Law at the University of Liverpool.
