We are a group of transdisciplinary researchers committed to strengthening capabilities for equitable resilience in marginalised communities in Latin America.

We adopt participatory and dialogical approaches for transformative research and meaningful impact towards the Sustainable Development Goals. The URBE Latam project team is drawn from the following institutions: University of Warwick, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, University of Antioquia, Institución Universitaria Colegio Mayor de Antioquia, British Geological Survey (BGS), the Brazilian Geological Service (CPRM), and the Brazilian National Centre for Natural Disaster Warning and Monitoring (CEMADEN).
