Are you looking to make a social and sustainable impact this summer? Join us for the Social Innovation Challenge!

We are hosting the Social Innovation Challenge with Coventry UK City of Culture to offer the opportunity for students to collaborate with peers to engage with the local communities, whilst also helping to develop their skills and capabilities. You will be challenged to come up with innovative solutions to real challenges in the city.

Starting Monday 14th June (each day, 2-3pm) you’ll attend exciting sessions that will support you in not only coming up with, but also confidently developing innovative solutions that you will pitch to a panel the following week on: Wednesday 23rd June to be in with the chance of raising up to £500 of funding to further develop your solution!

We’ve had some really exciting ideas pitched during previous years (including social enterprises) such as the: Hidden Gems* project. This Challenge offers an excellent opportunity to take an active part in the Coventry UK City of Culture, whilst developing key enterprise skills that employers look for, such as: innovative and original thinking, problem solving, creativity, project management, pitching (influencing and selling) etc.
