Maths - Co-creating Innovative E-assessments
The Mathematics Department at Warwick University launched a pioneering initiative titled "Co-Creating Innovative e-Assessments in Mathematics," led by staff lead Siri Chongchitnan. This initiative aimed to revolutionize the traditional methods of mathematics assessments by integrating modern technological tools, in order to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes, co-create with students to ensure adaptability and longevity of the e-assessments, and supplement traditional pen-and-paper methods with interactive digital assessments.
Philosophy - Social Enterprise Competition
Students were invited to pitch and present their own social enterprise ideas, grounded in philosophical concepts, that demonstrate how the discipline of philosophy and philosophers can make a difference within their local community. Students were invited to join a team of five to develop a social enterprise that would not only benefit the wider Coventry and Warwickshire community, but also encourage them to consider different opportunities that are available, and the many types of roles students can be involved in who study philosophy.
Chemistry - Designing for inclusion programme
The Designing for Inclusion programme was an initiative aimed at creating a more equal, diverse, and inclusive campus environment. It was run by the Chemistry Department in collaboration with Warwick Enterprise and the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning. The programme supported student-led teams in identifying and addressing everyday problems faced by students and staff, with the goal of finding innovative solutions that make the campus a more equal, diverse, and inclusive place to live, study, and work.
WMG Idea competition
WMG held a pitching event, funded, and supported by Warwick Enterprise through the Innovation 23 campaign. The event was design by Dr Ali Ahmed and the IAE team to encourage students to develop highly impactful project ideas, as an extension of their existing project design process.
Computer Science - Games Jam
The Great Warwick Game Jam was aimed at encouraging and supporting students building games using industry-recognized tools and innovative techniques. The event was organised by Alex Dixon from the Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with Warwick Innovation, and Warwick E-sports.
GSD Module Pilot
Warwick Enterprise's funding initiative played a pivotal role in supporting an innovative academic fieldtrip to Brussels, led by Dr. Marta Guerriero, designed to explore global sustainable development challenges within the city.
