About the Methods Hub
About the Methods Hub
The Methods Hub, hosted by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (CIM)Link opens in a new window at the University of Warwick, is open to anyone interested in designing, developing, applying, collaborating, learning, and sharing interdisciplinary methods. CIM has longstanding experience working with a broad range of non-academic partners, including intergovernmental organisations, national, regional, and local governments, industry representatives, civil society organisations, grassroots movements, community groups, and individual citizens. Building on this expertise, the Methods Hub seeks to provide physical and virtual platforms to foster methods-driven, impact-focused activities and outcomes by uniting people and projects across Warwick, as well as regionally, nationally and internationally, in and outside of academia.
History of the Methods Hub
An initial consultation with a range of non-academic collaborators highlighted that the Methods Hub has the potential to be many things to many people: a space to experiment with new methods and approaches, a source of methods training, a convenor of networks for knowledge exchange and ideas for collaboration and a resource for developing infrastructure and expertise to support methods-driven work. This is the vision we are working towards: the Methods Hub as a platform that supports diverse forms of methods-driven learning, sharing and collaboration.
