What's a PhD all about?
In November 2024 the Midlands Graduate School is delivering two sessions, aimed at demystifying the PhD and the process of applying for one.
These sessions are aimed at anyone who thinks they might be interested in pursuing a PhD, and we would particularly welcome attendees from groups which are historically underrepresented in academia, including first-generation university students, students from ethnic minority backgrounds, and those from low-income backgrounds. If you are currently an undergraduate student you can still apply for funding from us – we will fund a Masters in Social Science Research prior to your PhD!
Recordings of each session will be available on this page in due course.
